Archicad AI Render

Turn Archicad 3D views into photoreal renders

Archicad's 3D window already holds your design. Save the perspective you want, describe the finishes and setting, and use RenderChat to explore how the building could look before you set up a full rendering pass.

Before you start

Prepare your Archicad 3D view

Save the Archicad 3D window as an image and develop it into a photoreal render through chat.

1

Set the perspective

Open the 3D window in perspective and adjust the camera until the composition works. Keep verticals level.

2

Choose a 3D style

Use a shaded 3D style with contours on and sun shadows enabled. Hide markers, grids and section planes.

3

Save the 3D window

With the 3D window active, use File ▸ Save As and choose PNG at 2000 px or wider. A full-screen screenshot also works.

Same input, different models

Each example uses the same Archicad 3D view and the same brief, so the differences come from the model.

Example briefs

Archicad briefs to start from

Say what must stay first, then materials, light, setting and people.

Apartment block
Photoreal render of this Archicad model. Keep the massing, balconies and window rhythm. Light brick, white render on the top floor, timber balcony soffits, planted courtyard, spring morning light.
Street view
Street-level photoreal render from this Archicad view. Keep the building and camera. Wet pavement after rain, warm lights in the windows, cyclists and pedestrians, soft overcast light.

Quality check

What to check in the result

  • Balcony and window counts across the facade.
  • Ground-floor entrances and how the building meets the ground.
  • Material boundaries on the facade against your design.

FAQ

Archicad AI Render questions

Which AI model is best for Archicad renders?

It depends on the brief and the look you want. Run the same Archicad 3D view through two or three models — RenderChat lets you switch models in the same chat — and keep the one that respects your design best.

Do I need Archicad's renderer or a plugin?

No. RenderChat only needs an image of the 3D window, so it works alongside Archicad without any add-on.

Can I keep a consistent look across several views?

Yes. Attach a render you like as a reference when you send the next view and ask for the same materials and light.

Bring your Archicad 3D view to RenderChat.

Upload your Archicad 3D view, pick a model and describe the result you want.
